TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrive Delhi
You will be met and transferred from the airport to your hotel. Over night at hotel.

Day 2: Delhi to Kanha Tiger Reserve
Fly to Nagpur before driving to Kanha Tiger Reserve (6hrs). Kanha is in the heart of Kipling Country, the setting of the Jungle Book. Kanha is also the last refuge of the Swamp Deer.  



Days 3-4: Kamha Tiger Reserve

Enjoy game viewing safari around the park.

Day 5: Kanha to Bandhavgarh
National Park
Drive from Kanha to Bandhavgarh (250km/6hrs). This afternoon proceed on a game drive. Located in Madhya Pradesh, Bandhavgarh is known for the highest density of tigers in the world.

Day 6: Bandhavgarh
National Park
Morning and afternoon Canter Safari around the park.

Day 7: Bandhavgarh to Khajuraho

Drive from Bandhavgarh to Khajuraho (235km/6hrs). Afternoon, proceed for a tour of the Chandela Temple Complex.

Day 8: Khajuraho to Agra

Drive to Orchha. After lunch we drive on to Jhansi where we board the Shatabdi Express train, arriving in Agra in the evening.

Day 9: Agra to Bharatpur

Arrive by horse drawn carriage ‘tongas’ to view the Taj Mahal at sunrise. Return to your hotel for breakfast and checkout. Drive from Agra to Bharatpur (60kms/1.5hrs). Officially known as the Keoladeo National Park, it is probably the best-known bird watching location in India. In the afternoon, proceed for a bird watching tour by cycle rickshaw.

Day 10: Bharatpur to Ranthambore
National Park
Transfer to Bharatpur railway station to board your train to Sawai Madhopur near Ranthambore National Park. After lunch, proceed on a safari in the park by canter.

Day 11: Ranthambore National Park
Morning and afternoon game viewing by canters. You will also be taken to the 10th Century Ranthambore Fort.

Day 12: Ranthambore
National Park to Delhi
After breakfast drive from Ranthambore to Jaipur (180kms/4.5hrs) and board your train to Delhi. (B,L,D)

Day 13: Depart Delhi

Transfer to the airport.
