On arrival at Delhi airport transfer to the hotel.
Day 02
Delhi / Leh
Morning transfer to airport to flight to Leh and on arrival transfer to hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 03
In Leh
Morning half day excursion by jeeps/cars to visit Spituk Monastery and Shanti Syupa. Evening walking visit to Shamkar Gompa.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 04
In Leh
Full day excursion to Shey, Thiksey and Hemis monasteries with local
guide by cars / jeeps.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 05
Leh / Lamayuru
After breakfast, drive to Lamayuru enroute visiting Alchi Monastery.
Overnight in tents in Lamayuru.
Day 06
Lamayuru / Wanla
The Monastery here is the oldest in Ladakh has a big library of Buddhist literature. Trek from here over PRINKITI-LA ( 3726 Mts ) easy climb and descend . Camp, overnight at WANLA.
Day 07
Wanla / Hanupatta
Gradual ascend to the GYALPO - LA ( 3900 Mts ) visit the small Gompa.Camp and overnight .
Day 08
Hanupatta / Photoksar
Trek over SIRSIR-LA ( 4900 Mts ) trek through the path cut into the rocks to avoid difficult river crossing, gradual climb to SIRSIR-LA . Camp and overnight at PHOTOKSAR.
Day 09
Photoksar / Marling
Over BOUMITSE-LA ( 4900 Mts ) beautiful views all around during the trek , optional visit to the ABANDONED GOMPA, Yaks can be seen frequently during the trek. Camp and overnight at MARLING.
Day 10
Marling / Lingshed
Over SINGE-LA (5060 Mts ) Gradual ascend to the SINGE-LA pass,arrive LINGSHED.Camp and overnight at LINGSHED.
Day 11
At Lingshed
Morning visit to the Monastery which belongs to the GELUGPA sect. Afternoon explore the village. Overnight in tents.
Day 12
Lingshed / Zingchen
Over HANUMA-LA ( 5000 Mts ) Camp and overnight at ZINGCHEN.
Day 13
Zingchen / Hanumil
Over the steep PERFI - LA pass following the right side of the mountain and high above the fast flowing waters.. Camp & overnight at HANUMIL.
Day 14
Hanumil / Pishu
From Hanumil village the route to Pishu viilage is following the right bank of the Zanskar river and descending all the way. Camp at Pishu.
Day 15
At Pishu
Morning visit ZANGLA VILLAGE across the Zanskar river by a hanging
bridge made from steel wires and twigs. Camp & overnight at PISHU.
Day 16
Pishu / Karsha
Trek to Karsha village, visit the monastery largest in the ZANSKAR region having 150 Lamas of the yellow sect. Camp at KARCHA.
Karsha / Padum
Trek to PADUM through the flat valley floor . Overnight at PADUM.
Day 17
Padum / Rangdum
Morning drive to Rangdum via Tungri bridge by jeeps.Camp at Ramgdum.
Day 18
Rangdum / Kargil
After breakfast, drive to Kargil via Gulmatango , where you can have views of Nun and Kun peaks the highest peaks in Zanskar area.
Overnight at the hotel in Kargil.
Day 19
Kargil / Leh
Morning drive to Leh by jeeps and on arrival transfer to the hotel.
Day 20
In Leh
Day free for independent activities. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 21
Leh / Delhi
Transfer to the airport to board flight for Delhi.

Day 01

DAY 05
LEH - SPITUK – ZINGCHEN (12 Kms)
After early break fast drive to SPITUK cross the river INDUS , trek to ZINGCHEN. Camp little above the village . 6 hours walk.
DAY 06
ZINGCHE - YURUTSE (10 Kms, altitude 3530 - 4180 Mtrs)
Easy trek to YURUTSE involves 6 river crossings. Trek through an arrow valley. At RUMBAK enter a small valley. Camp just below the valley.
DAY 07
YURUTSE - SHINGO (12 Kms altitude 4180 - 3850 Mtrs ) A gradual ascend of 3 hours to GANDA-LA ( 4985 Mtrs ) , spectacular views all around from the pass on a clear day. Descend to SHINGO for over night camp.
DAY 08
SHINGO - SKIU ( 10 kms altitude 3850 - 3500 Mts ) 5 hours of pleasant Down hill walk through a narrow valley and dense sharps the valley opens out as you approach SKIU. Camp overnight near the river.
DAY 09
SKIU - MARKHA ( 16 Kms altitude 3200 - 3500 Mts ) 8 hours trek along the MARKHA river. The river trek up to the MARKHA VILLAGE - largest in the area. Camp, over night .
DAY 10
MARKHA - HANKAR ( 13 Kms, altitude 3200 - 3500 Mts ) 6 hours trek will take you to a small village of HANKAR. Camp, overnight.
DAY 11
HANKAR - NIMALING ( 8 Kms, altitude 3500 - 4800 Mts ) approx 5 hrs steep climb to NIMALING VALLEY. NIMALING is the summer grazing ground for the livestock of entire MARKHA VALLEY. Camp, overnight.
DAY 12
NIMALING.( altitude 4800 Mts ) . Day at leisure , optional trek to the baseof Mt KANGYATSE ( 6100 Mts )
DAY 13
NIMALING -KONGMARU-LA -SHANG SUMDO ( 15 Kms, altitude 4800 5100 ) a short but steep ascend to KONGMARU-LA and along walk Down the other side through gorges and ravine. Camp in willow grove near SHANG SUMDO VILLAGE.
DAY 14
SHANG - MARTSELANG/ HEMIS - LEH. ( 7 Kms, altitude 3600 - 3800 Mts ) A short scenic trek Down a narrow valley of rocks in different hues and colors to MARTSELANG .Pick up by car and drive to LEH. Transfer to Hotel.
DAY 15
LEH / DESKIT
Early morning drive from LEH to NUBRA VALLEY ( 7 hours ). The NUBRA VALLEY lies in the north of LEH accessible over the KHARDUNG - LA ( 18380 ft ), one of the highest motorable road in the World. The valley was on the trade route from LEH to KASHGAR via SASER and KARAKORAM passes. Apart from unparalleled trekking opportunities, the valley houses several Buddhist Monasteries such as SUMOR and the 350 years old DESKIT Monastery.
Visit the monastery which is on the highest point near the village, belonging to the yellow sect (Gyalokpa ) part of the Gompa which houses 120 monks is about 700 years old. The Dukahng has many statues one of which holds the head and left arm of the Turkish invader beleaved to be about 500 years old.

DAY 16
DESKIT - PANAMIK - SUMOR
After break fast drive to PANAMIK. Visit the HOT SPRING and drive back to SUMOR. Visit the 150 years old SAMSTANLIG Monastery . It is a big complex of seven temples including the Rinpochhey room. Walk half an hour from the Gompa to KHAGAR VILLAGE where there is another small Gompa, walk though the village and explore.
Meals and over night .
DAY 17
SUMOR - LEH
Drive back 172 Kms via KHALSAR and KHARDUNG - LA.
Transfer and overnight at the Hotel.
DAY 18 IN LEH
Day free for independent activities. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 19 LEH / DELHI
Morning transfer to the airport to board flight for Delhi.

DAY 08 SUMOR - LEH
Drive back 172 Kms via KHALSAR and KHARDUNG - LA.
Transfer and overnight at the Hotel.
DAY 09 Leh / Phyang / Taru
Morning driove to Phyang and later trek to Taru. Overnight in tents.
DAY 10 Trau / Humla
Trek to Humla village over the Taru La. Meals and overnight.
DAY 11 Humla / Basgo
Trek to Basgo village - visit the monastery atop the hill and camp.
DAY 12 Basgo / Likir
After breakfast, trek to Likir and camp at the head of the viilage.
DAY 13 Likir / Yangthang
Morning visit tthe Likir monastery and start the trek to Yangthang. From the road head you climb to the small pass of POBE LA and than down to the viilage of Sumdo. From here cross the river bridge and climb the CHARATSE LA about 1hour climb and than half hour to Yangthang. 5 to 6 hours trek.
DAY 14 Yangthang
Day return excursion to the monastery of Rizong . Approx 2 to 3 hours each way.
DAY 15 Yangthang / Hemis Shukpachan
Morning trek about half hour to the valley of Wulle and than climb to the SERMANCHAN PASS before making a descent to the large village of Hemis Shukpachan.
Overnight in tents.
DAY 16 Hemis Shukpachan / Themisgam / Leh
Cross the village and take the trail which leads to the MEPTEK LA about 3 hours from Hemis. Descent from the pass and you will be at Ang village. From Ang, trek to the major village of Temisgang. Visit to the monastery and later drive back to Leh.
DAY 17 In Leh
Day free and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 18 Leh / Delhi
Morning transfer to the airprt to board flight for Delhi.
